“I left Liverpool because of what Klopp said, he said he would never see me again
Jurgen Klopp has proven to be a polarizing figure in football, with the former Liverpool manager falling out with many during his tenure.
A German Premier League referee has been the victim of David Coote’s abusive language, but he is not the only referee to have been offended by the German’s past behaviour.
Other coaches and even some of Klopp’s players resented the manager’s will. Mohamed Salah clashed with the West Ham boss ahead of Klopp’s transfer – and there was more to come.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager is undoubtedly one of the best managers in Premier League history, but he didn’t mince words or tolerate fools. Italian striker Mario Balotelli was overlooked when Klopp named him at Anfield. Balotelli and Klopp’s short relationship
His anger at Rodgers comes after he returned to AC Milan on loan after a disappointing year in England. A few months later, Rodgers was sacked and replaced by Klopp. Can the Euro 2012 finalists make a fresh start at Anfield?
As it turned out, Klopp wasn’t a fan and Balotelli was left out of the Reds’ pre-season tour ahead of the 2016/17 season. Balotelli said the following about his relationship with the 57-year-old in an interview with Sky Italia in 2016 (according to The Mirror):
“Klopp doesn’t know me, I spoke to him once and he told me to go somewhere else, work hard and come back. So I said goodbye and told him I would never see him again.
Balotelli, who was dropped by Klopp and decided it was time to train with the under-23s, said: “I never complained, I accepted the coach’s decisions and I always acted professionally.”
The former Premier League winner stressed his professionalism at Liverpool, adding: “The professional Mario didn’t come to Milanello.
Even at Liverpool I had a normal attitude and lifestyle. I haven’t had any problems in my personal life in the past year.

Balotelli’s career after leaving Liverpool
He began life as a traveler.
Balotelli, now 34, has held the permanent home job seven times since leaving Anfield in 2016. The forward, who was prolific in France, rediscovered his goal-scoring ability at OGC Nice.
He scored 43 goals in 76 games before moving to Marseille. Unfortunately, his time with the Ligue 1 giants was short-lived and Balotelli returned to his hometown to represent Brescia.
After a year at the Italian club, he started working for Monza, before heading abroad again to play for Turkish club Adana Demirspor and Swiss club Sion. Denuza’s recent signing of Balotelli will allow the veteran to spend the final years of his career in Italy’s top flight.
