COLUMBUS, OH – The Ohio State Buckeyes have a long history of producing talented wide receivers, and the 2025 group might just be the best yet. With a talented trio of freshmen, including Bryson Rodgers, Brandon Inniss, and Noah Rogers, the Buckeyes are poised to have one of the most dominant receiving corps in the country.

The 2022 group, featuring Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, set the standard for excellence, with all three players earning All-American honors and being drafted into the NFL. However, the 2025 group might surpass even that elite standard, with Rodgers, Inniss, and Rogers all possessing the skills and talent to become All-Americans in their own right.

“We’re extremely excited about the potential of this group,” said Ohio State head coach Ryan Day. “They’re all talented players who have a chance to make an immediate impact on our team. We’re looking forward to seeing them develop and grow as players.”

Rodgers, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound receiver from Texas, is considered one of the top freshmen in the country. He’s a physical player with excellent speed and agility, and has already drawn comparisons to former Ohio State great, Michael Thomas.

Inniss, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound receiver from Florida, is a dynamic player with exceptional quickness and elusiveness. He’s a natural slot receiver who can create separation and make plays in the open field.

Rogers, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound receiver from Ohio, is a physical player with excellent strength and leaping ability. He’s a natural outside receiver who can win jump balls and make plays down the field.

All three players have already made a strong impression on their coaches and teammates, and are expected to play significant roles in Ohio State’s offense this season.

“They’re all talented players who have a chance to make an impact on our team,” said Ohio State wide receivers coach, Brian Hartline. “They’re all working hard and learning the system, and we’re excited to see them develop and grow as players.”

The Buckeyes’ receiving corps is expected to be one of the deepest and most talented in the country, with Rodgers, Inniss, and Rogers joining returning starters, Emeka Egbuka and Marvin Harrison Jr.

“We’re excited about the potential of our receiving corps,” said Day. “We’ve got a talented group of players who can make plays and create separation. We’re looking forward to seeing them develop and grow as players, and to seeing what they can do on the field.”

The Buckeyes will open their season on September 2 against Indiana, and will face a challenging schedule that includes games against Notre Dame, Penn State, and Michigan.

“We’re excited about the season ahead,” said Day. “We’ve got a talented team and a challenging schedule, and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can do. We’re going to take it one game at a time and focus on getting better every day.”
