_Ohio State Running Backs Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson Steal the Show at 2025 NFL Scouting Combine_
The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine was abuzz with excitement as the top college football prospects gathered to showcase their skills in front of NFL scouts, coaches, and executives. Among the standout performers were Ohio State running backs Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson, who delivered impressive displays of speed, agility, and power.
Judkins, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back from Pike County, Mississippi, was one of the most highly anticipated prospects at the Combine. He did not disappoint, posting a blistering 4.42-second 40-yard dash time, which was the fastest among all running backs in attendance.
But Judkins’ impressive speed was just the beginning. He also excelled in the agility drills, showcasing his quick feet and change-of-direction ability. His 6.85-second three-cone drill time was the second-fastest among all running backs, and his 11-foot-2 broad jump was among the top five.
“Quinshon Judkins is a dynamic player with a rare combination of speed, power, and agility,” said NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah. “He’s a true three-down back who can contribute in a variety of ways, whether it’s running between the tackles, catching passes out of the backfield, or returning kicks.”
Henderson, a 5-foot-10, 210-pound running back from Hopewell, Virginia, was equally impressive in his own right. He posted a 4.49-second 40-yard dash time, which was the third-fastest among all running backs. He also excelled in the strength drills, posting 24 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, which was the most among all running backs.
But what really set Henderson apart was his impressive showing in the positional drills. He demonstrated excellent hands and route-running ability, making several impressive catches and showcasing his versatility as a receiver out of the backfield.
“TreVeyon Henderson is a physical, between-the-tackles runner who can also contribute as a receiver,” said ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay. “He’s a tough, hard-nosed player who can bring a lot of value to an NFL team, whether it’s as a starter or a complementary back.”
The impressive performances by Judkins and Henderson have likely solidified their status as two of the top running back prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. Both players are expected to be selected in the first two rounds, with some analysts projecting Judkins as a potential top-10 pick.
Regardless of where they are selected, however, it’s clear that Judkins and Henderson are two talented running backs who are ready to make an impact at the next level.
“I’m just grateful for the opportunity to showcase my skills and compete against the best of the best,” Judkins said in an interview after the Combine. “I’m confident in my abilities, and I’m excited to see where the draft takes me.”
Henderson echoed Judkins’ sentiments, saying, “I’m just trying to enjoy the process and take it one day at a time. I’m grateful for the opportunity to compete at the Combine, and I’m looking forward to the next step in my journey.”
