COLUMBUS, OH – In an exclusive interview with ESPN, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day opened up on the return of fan favorite, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and confirmed the date for the much-anticipated 2024 spring game.
Day, who is entering his fifth season as the Buckeyes’ head coach, expressed his excitement about Smith-Njigba’s return to the team. The talented wide receiver, who missed most of the 2023 season due to injury, is expected to be a key contributor to the Buckeyes’ offense in 2024.
“We’re thrilled to have Jaxon back with us,” Day said. “He’s a phenomenal player and an even better person. He’s worked incredibly hard to get back on the field, and we’re excited to see him in action again.”
