COLUMBUS, OH – The Ohio State University Department of Athletics announced on Wednesday that the Buckeyes’ football team will host a Spring

Showcase on April 15, marking the first public event of the team’s spring practice schedule.

 

The Spring Showcase, which is free and open to the public, will provide fans with an opportunity to see the Buckeyes in action as they prepare for the 2023 season. The event will feature a series of drills, scrimmages, and other activities, giving fans a glimpse into the team’s preparation for the upcoming season.

 

“We are excited to invite our fans to the Spring Showcase,” said Ohio State head coach Ryan Day. “This event is a great opportunity for our fans to see our team in action and get a glimpse of what we’re working on during spring practice. We’re looking forward to a fun and exciting day at Ohio Stadium.”

 

The Spring Showcase will take place at Ohio Stadium, with gates opening at 11:00 AM. The event will begin at 12:00 PM, with the team participating in a series of drills and scrimmages.

 

In addition to the on-field activities, the Spring Showcase will also feature a number of fan-friendly activities, including autograph sessions with the players and coaches, a kids’ zone with inflatables and face painting, and a concessions stand offering a variety of food and drink options.

 

The Spring Showcase is the perfect opportunity for fans to get a glimpse of the 2023 Buckeyes, who are looking to build on the success of last season’s national championship win.

 

“We’re excited to get back out on the field and start preparing for the 2023 season,” said Day. “The Spring Showcase is a great way for our fans to see us in action and get a sense of what we’re working on. We’re looking forward to a fun and exciting day at Ohio Stadium.”

 

The Buckeyes’ spring practice schedule will consist of 15 practices, concluding with the Spring Showcase on April 15. The team will then break for the summer before returning for fall camp in August.

 

Ohio State’s 2023 schedule is highlighted by matchups against several top-ranked opponents, including Notre Dame, Michigan, and Penn State. The Buckeyes will also face off against several other Big Ten opponents, including Wisconsin, Iowa, and Indiana.
