KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Volunteers baseball team is looking to complete a three-game sweep of the Samford Bulldogs on Sunday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

 

The Vols (8-0) have been dominant in the first two games of the series, winning 10-2 on Friday and 7-3 on Saturday. Tennessee is looking to keep its winning streak alive and improve to 9-0 on the season.

 

Samford (2-5) is looking to avoid the sweep and pick up its first win of the series. The Bulldogs have struggled at the plate, scoring just 5 runs in the first two games of the series.

 

The Vols will send junior left-hander Drew Beam to the mound on Sunday. Beam has been impressive in his first two starts of the season, allowing just 2 earned runs in 10.0 innings pitched.
