KNOXVILLE, TN – The start time for the Tennessee Volunteers’ upcoming game against UNC Asheville has been moved up, the university announced today.

 

The game, which was originally scheduled to tip off at 7:00 PM ET on Wednesday, will now start at 4:00 PM ET. The change in start time is due to the threat of inclement weather in the Knoxville area, with forecasts calling for heavy rain and thunderstorms in the evening.

 

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for our fans, but we want to ensure that everyone can safely attend and enjoy the game,” said Tennessee athletic director, Danny White. “We’re excited to host UNC Asheville and look forward to a great game.”
