Manchester City star Jack Grealish has said goodbye to his manager in a new message

Manchester City star Jack Grealish has sent a message to former England manager Gareth Southgate after his temporary spell ended.

The City winger praised Carsley for the striker’s thinly covered strike for “bringing a bit of fun to an England shirt”.

Grealish was left out of the 26-man squad for Euro 2024 last summer as Southgate chose another player.

The 29-year-old scored three goals and provided three assists in 36 appearances for City last season, but that was not enough for Southgate to sign him.

Grealish publicly admitted he disagreed with Southgate’s decision, but Carsley brought him back into the team in September.

The tough winger was named for Carsley’s final training camp, but Grealish was one of nine players left in the squad. Britain is entering a new era

Carsley played in six games as manager of the Three Lions, leading the team to victory in the Nations League group stage with five wins and one loss.

England have been promoted to the A-League but will enter a new era with Thomas Tuchel taking over as manager in January. The former Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager is the man responsible for assembling the next squad and giving Grealish an impressive new manager.

Grealish has failed to score for City in 10 appearances in all competitions this season, but has provided two assists. Grealish appeared in 39 games as an England player, scoring 4 goals and providing 8 assists.
